It is one of the most famous places in Chandigarh. The specialty of this place is that it boasts 825 types of flowers. It’s quite a popular attraction place to visit among couples.

2. Rock Garden

The best place to hang out with your friends, family, and your loved ones. The specialty of this place is that it is made best out of waste. You will love this place.

3. Sukhna Lake

A man-made lake that is stretched across 3 km and one of its kind act as a perfect place for joggers and walkers. Apart from all this, the lake acts as the perfect spot for picnics. If you are visiting Chandigarh with your family this has to be on the top of your list of places to visit.

4. Sector 17 Market

The most popular and the biggest market in the city, this one is equally popular among kids and adults. From big brands to food joints, kids’ wear to bridal stores, this market has got it all. 5. Pinjore Garden

Beautiful ancient Mughal garden made in the 17th century. It’s built over an area of around 100 acres. It is a place very close to nature. The greenery and the beautiful fountains around here will catch your sight for a moment.

6. Elante Mall

It is one of the biggest malls in India. Elante, developed by Larsen & Toubro Group, is the largest mall in Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir.

You will be surprised to know that the mall is stretched over 1.15 million sq. ft. of retail space and that is why touted to be the largest mall in this region. It includes an assortment of international & domestic lifestyle brands, departmental stores, entertainment zone, food court, multiplex, a hypermarket, and open spaces.

7. Leisure Valley

Also known as “The Lungs of Chandigarh”. This attraction not only adds to the beauty but also keeps the pollution away from the city. It is built over a long area of 8 km. So, you can have enjoyed a picnic with your family and loved ones.

8. Chath Bir Zoo

It is a zoo spread out over a large area on the way to Patiala from Chandigarh. Children love the place because of the animals visible here. You can choose to walk but it is wiser to take a vehicle because the zoo is very big. The Lion safari is a special feature of the place. You can also get acquainted with the famous Royal Bengal tigers.

9. National Gallery Of Portraits

The museum showcases rare documents, portraits, and recorded voices that are proof of the struggles that were endured by the fighters. To be particular, you will find recorded voices of Mahatma Gandhi as well as Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru which will give you that perfect patriotic feel.
